مرحبا شباب وصبايا هذه محادثه بين A و B الكلمات المعاده كتابتها بعد كل محادثتين هذه الـIdioms ويشرح معانيها
بسم الله نبدأ
?A-So whose bright idea was this project anyway
أ- إذا, لمن هذه الفكره الامعه عن هذا المشروع على كل حال؟
B-Well, I suggested it during a brainstorming session last fall.
ب- حسناً, أنا اقترحتها خلال جلسة عصف أفكار.
Bright Idea =clever idea
يعني فكرة لامعه
Brainstorming =a free form suggestion session
عصف الأفكار *
يعني التفكير بشكل اجمالي واسع وطرح افكار وحلول بحريه

B-But it's the boss who was chomping at the bit to get it started,
ب- لكن الرئيس هو الذي كان متحمسا جدا للبدأ؟
B-immediately telling everyone the project would go straight to the top.
ب- مباشرة اخبر الجميع ان المشروع سيتلقى النجاح بسرعه.
Chomping at the bit = very very eager
يعني متحمس حدا
Go stright to the top=achieve success quickly
يعني تتلقى النجاح بسرعه

A- You know, you're just going to have to go in there and face the music
أ- هل تعلم, انت يجب عليك ان تدخل هناك وتواجه النتائج غير الساره.
A-You're partly to blame, so you have to take some of the responsibility for its failure.
أ- أنت ملام جزئيا, لذا يجب انت تتحمل بعض المسئوليه لفشل المشروع.
Face the music= Be confronted with the unpleasant consequences of one's action
تواجه النتائج غير الساره

B-I know, I know, but you know how easily he blows his top
ب-أنا اعلم, ولكن أنت تعرف كم هو سهل لان يشتاط غضبا
B-and I'm afraid he'll pull the rug out from under me before I can prove myself.
ب- و ايضا أخاف من أن بقاطعني وويدمرني قبل ان اوضح نفسي .
Blows his top =be very unpleasant and loose temper
يشتاط غضبا و يفقد اعصابه
Pull the rug out from under someone= suddenly interrupt and ruin someone
ان تقاطع احد فجأة وتقضي عليه " هنا الموظف خاف من ان يفصل"

A-Oh, calm down Jay, you're getting carried away,
أ- آه, إهدا يا "ب" , انت تعطي الموضوع أكبر من حجمه
A-You know the boss just needs to blow off some steam.
أ- انت تعلم ان الرئيس يحتاج ان يروح عن نفسه
Carried away=over reacting
التفاعل مع موضوع أكثر من اللازم,,, يعني تكبير الموضوع
Blow off some stream =releasing some tension and expressing anger
الترويح عن النفس ,,, يعني لما تفش خلقك

A-I think you're making a mountain out of a molehill! I'm sure things will be all right.
أعتقد انك تكبر حجم المشكله! أنا متؤكد الامور ستكون على مايرام.
mountain out of a molehill=making a big problem out of a small one
تكبير حجم المشكلة ,,, يعني مثل "لاتخلي من الحبه قبه"
